Daniel Steer is a professional musician, songwriter and producer and has worked in the music industry for over a decade.
Daniel’s passion for writing and performing began in school when he started songwriting. Forming his first band while studying for A-Levels, Daniel started performing in covers bands gigging around his home town of Teignmough. He formed his first original band at the age of 20 and has since written 7 studio albums and co-writen many more with various artists.
Daniel’s talent for writing and producing music across multiple genres including rock, pop, indie and country has led him to work with numerous high-profile artists and has had tracks released on both major and independent record labels.
Daniel has had number one globally charting tracks (Apple Rock and MTV rock), millions of streams on Spotify and considerable synch success with tracks on Hollywood feature films, BBC TV (UK) and ABC TV (US), in addition to sporting programmes (FIFA goals of the week). In addition to this, he has had numerous radio play-listed singles (BBC, Virgin, Kerrang!, KROQ) and has had tracks chart highly in the Kerrang! and Scuzz TV charts.
Having produced and released 5 self-penned albums as a front man (The Quails and Reigning Days), Daniel released his first solo album in February 2020.
